Two building booms, sixty years apart
The American Community Survey (2020–2024) counts about 8,000 people and 3,450 housing units in Twin Lakes. About 1,370 of those homes were built in the 1950s and about 1,240 in the 2010s. Very little was built in between. About four in five Twin Lakes homes are detached single-family houses, and three in four are owner-occupied.
Many of the 1950s houses still have original chain link or a tired wood fence. The 2010s homes sit closer together, usually in subdivisions with HOA rules about fence style and color. We handle both kinds of lot.

Adams County rules apply
Twin Lakes is not part of Westminster, so Westminster's fence code and its 30-inch permit threshold do not apply. Adams County says fences over 42 inches tall need a building permit, and fences under 42 inches do not. Height limits by yard come from the county's zoning for the lot. We check both before we quote.
Walking an old chain-link lineReplacing 1950s chain link
The most common Twin Lakes job is replacing chain link around a 1950s ranch. Old chain-link posts are usually set in small concrete plugs, and after 70 years some have rusted through at the ground. We pull the fabric and posts, break out the old concrete, and set new steel posts in full-size footings. A 4-foot steel picket fence across the front and a 6-foot fence in back is a common combination.
Newer homes and HOA approval
Newer Twin Lakes subdivisions usually came with a builder fence, often wood or vinyl, plus HOA guidelines for anything new. When owners switch to metal, the HOA generally wants black, a specific top style and a maximum height. We prepare the drawing and product sheet the HOA asks for.
Close to our Westminster routes
Twin Lakes sits near Interstate 76, a short drive from Westminster. That makes small jobs practical too: a single gate, a few reset posts, a latch that stopped catching.
